Sign #2 - 9 Signs You Have Costly Email Habits

The Reality:

Constantly having a large amount of unread emails is a source of unease & overwhelm.

If the majority of these unread emails are not recent emails - you have an inbox management issue.

Does this sound familiar...?
You're not actioning emails when you read them the first time - you read them and then mark them as unread again to remind you to go back to them.

Problem is there are so many that they just become one big long list of unread emails in your inbox that fast becomes unmanageable.
Until you hear yourself say "Oh well, if it was urgent they would have called me".

The Consequences:

You always feel like there is too much on your plate and that you can never catch up. Feeling like you're behind in your work is stressful.

The double or triple handling every time you go back and read these emails, not realising what they contain or whether you're seeing them for the first time, is an enormous waste of time.
Depending on the volume of emails you receive YOU COULD WASTE HOURS PER WEEK re-reading emails multiple times unnecessarily.

Stop justifying that once these emails reach a certain age you can just delete them - it's burying your head in the sand.
Not exactly the most professional way to approach communication in business, is it?
