Sign #5 - 9 Signs You Have Costly Email Habits

The Reality:

Emails coming in thick and fast?

Do you get such a large volume of emails and so little time to spend in your inbox that you simply have to choose who you can reply to?

For some people they go into their day knowing that they are not going to be able to reply to all the emails they receive.
This can make them feel guilty and overwhelmed.

The Consequences:

Hang on, I don't choose to ignore people!

Well, that's what is happening if you don't have a plan for those emails that you don't choose to reply to.

Have you ever really thought about the emails that you choose to leave until later but never quite get to?
Would you find patterns amongst those emails and the people sending them?
If you were aware of these patterns you might make a different decision.

For example, you might be surprised to find how often you've ignored emails from your bookkeeper over the past few years.
Or another business provider. Or someone else that you deem to be slightly less important than your biggest client.

Are you conscious of who you are ignoring emails from?
